Translating phpDesigner into your favorite language is easy. phpDesigner 7 uses the free localization tool DKLang which makes the translation process simple and straightforward.
How to translate phpDesigner 7
- Download and install the DKLang Translation Editor v3.0
- In DKLang Translation Editor open the language source file of phpDesigner located in the folder where you install under ”/Language”, named “phpDesigner.dklang”.
- Select and choose the desired translation language and press Ok.
- Translate the text in the “Default Value” column into the “Translated Value” column.
- Once the translation file is created place it in the phpDesigner 7 installation folder under “\Languages” and run phpDesigner 7. In order to preview the language file select View > Languages and your new language should be shown in the menu. Select the new language and test/see it in phpDesigner 7.
- Once the translation is done, you can send the translation file to me and I will make it available for everybody and credit you on my website and in phpDesigner 7!
