Working with Projects
Working with projects enables you to define a workspace where you can access all declarations (classes, functions, variables, constants, interfaces).
Create a New Project
Menu:
- On the Project menu, point to “Project Manager…”
- Click the button “Add…”
- Type the project name in under the general tab.
- In the project root, type in the path of the project root, or click the Browse button to locate the path.
- In the description, type in a description of the project.
- Configure the filters of the project on the filter tab
- If you like to work with frameworks , enter the path of your framework/library in the frameworks/libraries tab
- By default your project will use the global localhost settings, however this can be customized so that your project uses it's own localhost settings.
- Click Ok
Getting Started:
- On the Getting Started page, right-click in the project area and point to “Project Manager…”
- Click the “Add…” button
- In the project name on the general tab, type in the name for the new project.
- In the project root, type in the path of the project root, or click the Browse button to locate the path.
- In the description, type in the description of the project.
- Configure the filters of the project on the filter tab
- If you like to work with frameworks, enter the path of your framework/library in the frameworks/libraries tab

- Click Ok
Tool Panel:
- On the tool panel, select the project tab and click the “Add” button
- In the project name on the general tab, type in the name for the new project.

Edit an Existing Project
Menu:
- On the Project menu, point to “Project Manager…”
- Click the button “Edit…”
- In the project name on the general tab, type in the name for the new project.
- In the project root, type in the path of the project root, or click the Browse button to locate the path.
- In the decription, type in the description of the project.
- Configure the filters of the project on the filter tab
- If you like to work with frameworks enter the path of your framework/library in the frameworks/libraries tab
- By default your project will use the global localhost settings however this can be customized so your project uses its own localhost settings.
- Click Ok
Open a Project
Menu:
- On the Project menu, select the project you wish to open
- Double-click on the project to open it
Getting Started:
- On the Getting Started page, select the project you wish to open in the project area
- Double-click on the project to open it
Tool Panel:
- On the tool panel, select the project tab and then select the project you wish to open
- Double-click on the project to open it it
Delete a Project
Menu:
- On the Project menu, select the project you wish to delete
- Click the “Delete…” button and confirm
Getting Started:
- On the Getting Started page, select the project you wish to delete from the project area
- Click the “Delete…” button and confirm
Tool Panel:
- On the tool panel, select the project tab and select the project you wish to delete
- Click the “Delete…” button and confirm
Load project on start
If you did not close the active project on close, it will by default automatically be loaded on the next start
- On the Tools menu, point to Preferences
- Select Startup
- Check “load last project on startup”
